This app connects you to droneNET, a secret galaxy-wide network of remote-controlled, self-replicating, drone spaceships. We don't know who created it, but it wasn't us.

The drones have been replicating out of control, consuming our galaxy for raw materials! We need to thin them out, and destroy the evil ones... before they find Earth!

HOW TO PLAY

* Pick your Star Map. (we'll hook you up with others in that Star System)

* Configure your drone. (customize appearance and attributes)

* Kick some asteroids. (or each other)

Each drone starts with six 'pods' that you allocate between Weapons, Engines, or Shields. You can usually find additional powerups, weapons and defensive items floating in space.

Starmaps can contain fully scripted story lines, but mainly it's a drop-in melee space battle game for up to 8 players per starmap instance, with a very retro look.

This is a port of my original game for Windows, but includes the ability to make scripted quests and adventures. It encourages players to create and share 'collectibles' and provides built-in editors for each type.

The game comes with several additional modules, like a music synthesizer, that are intended to support map development, but end up being enjoyable mini-games.

To be a map designer, you start with a Google Drive text document, written in 'lua,' using the synspace API. Then, import that into your device for testing (it's just a button push, no special equipment or cables needed).

Once you like your starmap, you publish it simply by using it with other people (who then get copies peer to peer, as needed).
